As wedding photographers ourselves, we know how difficult it can be to let go of this area of your business. This is why we work one-on-one with each of our clients to help them feel confident and excited about outsourcing. Each client is assigned to their personal editor and each editor handles your images with the love and care they deserve.

the process

01

video consult

The video consult is where we will get to know you and get a better understanding of your outsourcing needs. We will explain the process and make sure that we are a good fit for each other. Once we’ve both decided that we are a good fit for each other then we will send you a new client email. This email will have everything you need to get started.

02

first catalog

So you’ve decided that you want to give it a try! Once you have a catalog that needs to be edited you’ll want to cull the catalog and edit your anchor images. Once you’ve prepared the catalog you can upload it to dropbox link that we send you in the new client email.

03

ANCHOR IMAGES

Our goal is to provide you with edits that are consistent with your editing style. We accomplish this through the use of Anchor Images. These are images that you've edited and that represent your style. We will use your anchor images as a reference while editing your catalog. In order to ensure that your style is being replicated throughout the catalog it is important that you include one or two anchor images per section (approx 10% of the catalog).

04

BASE PRESET

Now that we have your first catalog, it’s time to create your base preset. We will review your anchor images and create a preset just for you based on the typical editing settings that you've used. Of course our overall goal when editing your catalogs is to use your anchor images as much as possible but if there are sections of the catalog that don’t have an anchor image than we will use the base preset as a starting point and then adjust as needed.

05

SAMPLE EDITS

We are now ready to edit some sample images using the base preset that we’ve created for you. The goal for these samples are to show you how accurately we can reproduce your editing style. We will edit 20 - 30 images and then send the images back to you in a sample catalog. You’ll then let us know if any adjustments need to made. Once you are happy with the sample edits then we will assign the catalog to an editor and the editing will begin!

06

CATALOG SCHEDULING

The last step in the onboarding process is to schedule your editing dates on our calendar. It’s important to ensure that your assigned editor will always be available to edit your catalogs. We accomplish this by sending you a six month editing questionnaire that you will fill out with your shoot schedule.
